Big Bear City Airport Information

Big Bear City Airport is located in the San Bernardino Mountains at the 6,748 foot elevation. It is the only airport serving the communities of Big Bear Lake, Big Bear City, Lake Arrowhead and other communities in the mountain range.

Big Bear City Airport is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, UNICOM services are available every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Big Bear City Airport, in cooperation with San Bernardino County Emergency Services, provides storage for a 500-bed emergency hospital, housing, generator power, manpower, emergency ingress/egress and MEDIVAC.
